Parish Profile
Welcome to the parish profile for The Episcopal Church of the Ascension in Cartersville, Georgia. In this profile, we hope to provide a picture of our history, a description of our active presence in the community today, and a glimpse of our future goals. This profile was completed in 2010 as part of the search for a new rector. The Reverend Mary K. Erickson was called in October of the same year. Many hours were spent preparing a survey for the congregation to determine the needs of the parish and Ascension’s role in Cartersville. We invite you to read the resulting parish profile.
